Social Studies:

This week we will be reviewing map skills, global perspective, and continents and oceans before moving on to understanding primary and secondary sources. We will be completing a sort where students need to identify resources they could use for both primary sources and secondary sources. If time allows, we will also dive into looking at our online Social Studies textbook!

Homework:

  • Reading: Independent reading 20 minutes each night
    • Remember, it is your child's responsibility to ask you to initial the reading log as well as the agenda each day.

  • Math: Homework will be given if students show full understanding of the concept. We will be doing practice problems during class that resembles the homework so they have appropriate support in completing their homework. Homework has the potential to change after gauging student understanding of the concept.
Monday: No School- No homework
Tuesday: Lesson 5 Homework page
Wednesday: Lesson 6 Homework page
Thursday:  Lesson 7 Homework page
Friday: Take home and complete any missing math assignments that were not completed in class. Students should have ample time to finish all assignments during our class time as long as they were focused during the day. The only reason they would have any homework to catch up on would be because they were distracted during our class work time this week.
