8/26-8/30 Important Dates Wednesday, August 28th: Fall Pictures Thursday, August 29th: PTO Welcome Back Party from 6pm-8pm!  Friday, August 30th: NO SCHOOL; Teacher Professional Development Day Monday, September 2: NO SCHOOL- Labor Day Wednesday, September 11- 2 hour delay Fall Picture Day: Wednesday, August 28th!  Order forms went home last week for pictures. You may order online ahead of time or send your child with the picture order form on the day of. If you have any questions, please reach out via email or Class Dojo:)  Math:  Objectives this week:  Name numbers within 1 million by building understanding of the place value chart and placement of commas for naming base thousand units.  Read and write multi-digit numbers using base ten numerals, number names, and expanded form.  ELA:  Objectives this week:  We will be answering the question, "How does someone show great heart, figuratively?"
